Academy At The Farm

Academy at the Farm is a unique charter school designed to meet the needs of all students in an inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and an appreciation for nature and our environment. Our program follows the Sunshine State Standards through a continuous progress model while modifying the curriculum to meet each child's needs. Academy at the Farm is located on 10 acres in southeastern Pasco County. The land itself is a beautiful and ideal site for a school chartered on the concept of learning in a natural environment. Opened in the fall of 2002, the Academy at the Farm is a unique public charter school in Dade City, designed to meet the individual needs of 254 students from Pasco and Hillsborough counties in the K through 8th grades. Approximately 15 - 20% of the 254 students are "special needs" students. The Academy will provide an"inclusive learning environment" to meet the needs of all students and to promote academic excellence, character development and an appreciation for our environment.
