Car Wash Benefits Race for Sight

Monday, March 2 from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. blind and visually impaired teens will join the University of Tampa’s Delta Gamma sorority for a car wash. All proceeds from the event benefit the Lions Eye Institute Foundation’s upcoming Race for Sight. The bubbly scrubbing and rinsing will take place at Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind, 1106 W. Platt St. in Tampa. A donation of $5 for cars and $10 for trucks and SUVs is suggested. The 8th Annual Race for Sight is Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Ybor City’s Centennial Park.
